Do you want to take your landscaping to the next level? Do you want to learn how the pros design? Come to this new series here at Burlington Garden Center. Tracy Hankwitz, who is a horticulturist, our GM, and former Horticulture Instructor at Gateway Technical College, will lead this 3-part series. This is part seminar and part workshop where you will apply what you learn during each session.
Session 1: Landscape Design Basics
Saturday, February 15 @ 1 pm-2:30 pm
In this first session, you will learn how the pros design a landscape. Take a photo of one area of your yard (the front of the house is a good place to start). Print the photo on paper and bring 3-4 copies of it along with a clipboard. You will use them to apply the basic design principles to your own yard.
These sessions are complimentary. Understand that you will learn the very basics as we cover a semester's worth of material in a three afternoons. Come to one or two, but we hope you'll come to all three! Please preregister for each session.
