Native Plant Walk & Talk
Saturday, August 1 @ 10 AM
Discover the Beauty and Power of Wisconsin’s Native Flora.
Ready to transform your yard into a vibrant, low-maintenance sanctuary that buzzes with life? Join us at the Burlington Garden Center for an interactive, guided tour of our plant nursery.
Whether you are looking to design a native matrix garden, support local wildlife, or simply find the perfect hardy perennial for that tricky spot in your yard, our resident plant experts are here to guide the way.
What to Expect
- A Guided Nursery Tour: Stroll through our nursery benches stocked with native plants alongside our expert team to see, touch, and learn about the best native plants for our region.
- The Pollinator Connection: Discover the vital relationships between specific native plants and local pollinators. You'll learn exactly what to plant to attract host butterflies, native bees, and songbirds to your backyard.
- Design & Landscape Tips: Learn how to seamlessly integrate these native beauties into your existing landscape, group them for maximum visual impact, and care for them season after season.
Attendees will save 20% on all native plants purchased the day of the talk, and will receive one native plant with a value of $9.99.
Please pre-register so we can prepare enough materials for everyone.
