Desk Zen: Succulent + Sand Garden Workshop

Escape the daily grind and channel your inner peace with a hands-on, wellness-focused planting experience. In this workshop, you will design and assemble your own miniature sanctuary—a 10" tabletop Zen garden perfectly sized to bring a sense of calm to your workspace or home desk.
 
We will guide you through the art of mindful landscaping, combining the structural beauty of hardy, low-maintenance succulents with crisp white sand. To complete your living art piece, you’ll add a miniature wooden Zen rake, allowing you to clear your mind by combing meditative patterns into the sand whenever you need a mindful break during the workday. 
 
Our staff will guide you through the process and provide care instructions. Whether you are looking to green up your office, reduce workday stress, or simply enjoy a relaxing botanical project, this workshop offers the perfect blend of gardening and grounding wellness.

  • Hostas: Offering bold, broad leaves in striking steel-blues, variegated creams, and vibrant chartreuse.
  • Ferns: Bringing light, airy, and feathery elegance to add movement and softness.
  • Coral Bells (Heuchera): Adding rich, year-round drama with foliage ranging from brilliant amber to deep merlot.
