Salad in a Bowl Workshop
Saturday, April 18 @ 10 AM to 12 PM Grow your own salad greens in a 12" garden bowl to enjoy on your patio or deck. Your garden bowl will include three types of lettuce, a 4-pack of edible pansies, and a packet of salad greens to plant from seed. We'll teach you how to harvest and sow for a continuous crop of delicious, home-grown greens. Come anytime between 10 am and 12 pm. Cost: $27.99 |

or Science Saturday, April 18 @ 10 AM Learn the many benefits of interplanting in a home garden. Companion planting enhances growth and flavor, increases yields, improves soil, and provides pest control. Our presenter, Susan Orby, is both a Master Gardener Volunteer and a Master Composter. Kids' May Baskets
Saturday, April 25 @ 10 AM Celebrate the beginning of May by bringing in the kids to create a pot of flowers to give to someone special. Our greenhouse team will help the kiddos choose from several different 4-packs of annuals to create a pretty container. This activity fosters kindness and celebrates spring, offering a simple craft project for kids. Come anytime between 10 am and 12 pm. Appropriate for kids of all ages. Houseplant Bingo @ Twin Lakes Local
Thursday, April 30 @ 6 pm Join us for our new event - houseplant bingo! We’ll play 10 exciting rounds of bingo with houseplants as the prizes! You will learn the care info for those 10 plants, so this is fun AND educational. Everyone takes home a 2" houseplant. The final round winner takes home the largest plant.
